First Underwater Cruise Ship Lounge

The French expedition cruise company named Ponant is launching the first-ever underwater lounge at sea. Blue Eye, a smooth, multi-sensory space, will be uncovered on the four new Ponant Explorers that are Le Dumont-d’Urville, Le Lapérouse, Le Bougainville and Le Champlain.

While being on each ship, passengers will be heading under the water line to the Blue Eye lounge. There are two huge glass portholes planned like the eyes of a whale that allow the passengers look into the depths below, digital screens projecting live images filmed by underwater cameras, oceanic surroundings based on sounds within the 3-mile radius of the ship and sofas that shake in harmony with the sea.

These four yachts will be rolled out in 2018 and 2019 but should establish to be admired, as the desire for expedition cruising. Expedition cruising is a way of travel that highlights small, not so accessible ports, spellbinding wildlife excursions and on-board experts and naturalists.

Other cruise companies set to offer next-gen expedition vessels include Silversea, which will renovate the Silver Cloud for paying attention on polar sailings; Norwegian-line Hurtigruten; and Scenic, with its luxurious expedition yacht, the Scenic Eclipse.

The underwater lounge will take time in coming into existence but you can enjoy cruise expeditions with best cruise tour packages available at Call or whatsapp our travel experts at 990980980 for more details.
